Assist in structural modeling, analysis, and design for Light Gauge Steel Framing (LGSF) structures under senior guidance. Work with AISI, Eurocode, and AS/NZS standards for global projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in 3D structural modeling and load calculations (wind, seismic, live/dead)
Perform preliminary section sizing for LGS wall panels, joists, and trusses
Review detailing outputs and shop drawings for structural intent
Coordinate with senior structural engineers and detailing team members
Prepare structural calculation reports and engineering documentation
QUALIFICATIONS
BS in Civil or Structural Engineering
Basic knowledge of cold-formed steel (LGSF) concepts and structural mechanics
Familiarity with structural software (ScotStruct, STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, or ETABS)
Strong analytical mindset and high willingness to learn
Good written and spoken English communication skills
