EXPLORE
OVERVIEW
A two-storey aged care wing extension built adjacent to an operational facility. CFS framing minimised noise and vibration during construction, while the lightweight structure avoided expensive foundation upgrades on the existing reactive clay site.
This healthcareproject was delivered by SYSOL Limited's engineering and detailing teams from concept through fabrication-ready drawings. Light Gauge Steel framing was specified for its rapid deployment, structural precision, and compliance with Australia's building codes.
HIGHLIGHTS
Lightweight CFS structure avoiding deep foundation upgrades
Low-vibration construction methodology for adjacent live facility
Fire-rated wall and floor assemblies to FRL 60/60/60
Accessibility-compliant detailing to AS 1428.1 throughout
